The World At My Feet
When Meryl was a child, she knew she wanted to fly and see the world. Her story takes her all over the world. She was fluent in several languages and studied in France and Russia before she was eighteen. One day, while in college, she saw an article about learning to fly, and she decided then and there that she was going to be an airline captain. The journey began as exciting, but sometimes frustrating. This is a story about that journey and is a must-read for everyone, particularly young girls who need inspiration to meet the challenges of pursuing things that were not always available to women.
